Level 4 Expectations

It has been almost 2 days since the update from our President regarding lock-down and like everyone else we are all still trying to figure out what it means for us.

I have been “studying” the official document that was released by Government regarding Schedule of Services and Framework for Sectors. To be honest, nothing much will change in Level 4, although there are a few which are worth a mention:

• Roadworks can resume! Am extremely happy about this, as am hoping they get moving and complete what is outstanding by the time I can go back to work! Will help with the ease of traffic further down the line!

• I am still not sure if I can collect my Credit Card from the bank, since the branch was closed, but I am hoping that they will re-open. Guess I will have to do a “drive by” to get my answer

• Jason can collect his driver’s licence, since he has been driving with a “temporary one” for almost 2 months prior to lock-down

• My neighbor will be happy about the cooked food delivery, since that is what he relies on, as his wife works on ships and he does not cook at all! His daughter has been dropping off his meals so it is not as if he has been starving!

• The sale of ciggies for my smoker friends. This will leave them less stressed, even though it would have been a good time to give up, cold turkey! Hint, hint, although I still love you!

• We can start ordering Mr Delivery or Uber Eats, not that that is something that we ever did, but we might have to start since I am getting bored with my own cooking!

• Have been struggling with my eyes, so my Ophthalmologist should be back. My knee is OK for now, so will not need the Physiotherapist, but I am glad that that option is there should I require it!

• Am hoping exercising under “strict public health conditions” means we can “borrow” the neighbours’ dog and take it for a walk or that I can maybe book a session with my Biokineticist. This area they has been a bit “vague” with so we will need lots more clarification here!

• Fingers crossed our hotels are utilized for quarantine or essential services since that is allowed.

Smoker friends stock up on your ciggies, as you know what we will be stocking up on in Level 3! We will not be caught out again!

We are being realistic and cautiously optimistic, since it could be months before we move between the various levels! If people do not behave, who knows, we might remain on level 5 a while longer or move up and down between levels!

Who knows? I guess, only time will tell!
