Pajama Inspiration - Be you. Believe in yourself

This morning, looking in the mirror whilst brushing my teeth, my eyes fell on the slogan of my pj’s, it reads, “Be you. Believe in yourself”. Now I do not know about you, but when I shop for pj’s it’s comfort first and then possibly I look at the colour and slogan. OK, so I am a bargain hunter, so maybe price determines my purchases first. Yes, I am Cancerian and my husband will say a bit of a penny watcher, but somebody has to manage the household bank account! Anyway, back to the slogan.

I literally stopped brushing and just looked at the slogan for a minute. It was as if I saw the slogan for the first time. In coaching terms, it was my slogan “in lights”. Be you. Believe in yourself. These words could not have come to me at a better time. Here I have a successful career in Sales working for a large Corporate, whom I am extremely grateful for, especially in these current circumstances, but I am also a certified Life Coach with the opportunity to make a difference in others lives, yet it is something I have not given the attention it deserves.

I belong to a fabulous network of coaches and on a monthly basis we do a check in via Zoom and we call it our Mastermind Network. Here we talk about our obstacles and our wins in getting our coaching practices up and running. A support group of sorts. And each month I come up with another excuse as to why I have not signed up more clients. Now you reading this is probably thinking why, as a Life Coach, I would confess to something like that? Truth is, we are all human with our various obstacles, no matter what our profession. If we cannot be honest with ourselves, how can we be honest with the people we coach?

Be you. Believe in yourself.

What “sign” have you been given which you chose to ignore, for what ever reason? I am not ignoring my sign. I see it and I believe it! If you have been following my daily blog you would have realized that I am being myself, revealing parts of me, which I would not necessarily openly share. I hope that with each blog, something resonates with you, so much so, that you feel comfortable enough to reach out and connect with me.

Be you. Believe in yourself. We are all undergoing a period of transition, whether we chose to accept and believe it or not. Some of us are stronger than others and can cope with change, but there are also those that cannot. There is no reason for you to walk this path alone. If not now, then when?
